ProveIt, a 32-bit Windows© application, was designed to calculate and manage a company's meter proving information and employs the latest API and Gas Processor Association (GPA) algorithms for the calculation of the volume correction factors.
Easily Import/Export Meter Proving Data
If operating your systems sometimes requires different personnel and computers to prove a meter, then relax. With Prove-It's popular 'meter import/export' feature, the data can easily be moved from one computer to another. This function becomes most valuable when a meter's history and its special annotations can affect a proving's decisions and procedures.
Reports & Queries
Producing the standard reports has never been easier with ProveIt. Printing, faxing or emailing is just a key-stroke away. Since the data is stored in an ODBC database, ad-hoc query and custom reports are always available upon demand. This includes the option to easily export the data to any popular spreadsheet or corporate database.
The ProveIt configurable 'proving criteria set-points' ensure that a meter meets the repeatability requirements by terminating a proving when they have been met. Historical meter factor set-points help to monitor a meter's performance by comparing the current meter factor to the prior and/or average of the historical, including a product dependency option. The ProveIt configurable graphical views provide control charts with user defined tolerances that are helpful in presenting the data in a format which is easy to understand and interpret.
ProveIt utilizes a Microsoft® Access database which contains a large assortment of information pertaining to a meter, its associated fluid(s), equipment, and individual provings. This minimizes the data entry requirements and associated mistakes, thus providing uniformity among provings. Prove-It provides immediate access to all historical and trending data, including the ability to print current and previous reports.
Security Privileges
The security system limits a user's access to only those privileges (view, create and modify) granted to them by the system administrator.
Using the ad-hoc graphical interface in Prove-It provides easy access for viewing and reporting of developing trends or abnormal data.
In Prove-It, proving tolerances are configurable to establish repeatability requirements.
