Flow-Cal, Inc. will be conducting a local job fair on January 26, 2012. The event will take place at the Hilton Houston NASA Clear Lake, located only a short distance from Flow-Cal’s office. Flow-Cal is seeking skilled personnel to fill positions in the areas of Customer Support Desk, Professional Consulting Services, Software Developers, Sales Assistant, and a Manager of Marketing.
With the recession affecting Houston’s Clear Lake area, and numerous jobs losses with the majority relating to the Space Program slowdown, the community is in need for other industries to alleviate the impact on the local economy. The energy industry is on the rise with a nationwide boom in shale gas production. As a recognized leader in this sector, Flow-Cal is positioned for intense growth entering into 2012 and will need additional resources to support the expanding infrastructure.
"The growth is extremely exciting. We are anticipating these new additions to our staff are only the beginning, with many more positions coming available in the near future," states Mike DeMasie, Flow-Cal’s Chief Operating Officer.
Flow-Cal’s office has been located in the Clear Lake area behind the NASA Johnson Space Center for over a decade. In support of the local economy during the economic struggles, Flow-Cal’s Job Fair will target the Clear Lake area and the surrounding communities. Recruitment will be exclusive to Clear Lake colleges and universities and local job placement centers.
